Educational use only. Differential is a clinical-reasoning simulator. It does not provide medical advice and must never be used for the care of real patients.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Differential you agree to these Terms.

2. Educational purpose

All cases, AI patients, and feedback are synthetic and provided for learning. Nothing on the platform constitutes professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

3. No medical advice

Do not rely on Differential for real clinical decision-making. Always defer to qualified professionals and validated guidelines.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Abuse, harass, or harm other users or AI patients in chats.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source data.
• Use the platform for any illegal purpose or to attack our infrastructure.
• Enter or upload real patient-identifiable information (PHI/PII) in cases, chats, or feedback. You are solely responsible for ensuring no confidential patient data is submitted.

6. AI conduct & moderation

We use automated and manual moderation. Repeated or severe violations may result in temporary suspension or permanent ban without refund.

7. Intellectual property

Differential, including all case content, illustrations, code, and brand materials, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. Your generated session data belongs to you.

8. Premium subscriptions

When paid plans are introduced, billing terms, cancellation, and refund policies will be presented at checkout and become part of these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Differential and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Differential is operated. This will be updated when the business is formally incorporated.
